So began a few weeks of ferrying my dad around, to and from Hospital, not that he asked mind, he was quite happy to get the bus but he's no spring chicken himself and the last thing we needed was him making himself poorly by overdoing things!
Little Leon was visiting a few times, dispensing the Dr Leon magic. and generally being cute for the nurses. Whilst amusing, it's also quite sad how at home Leon feels in hospital.
Loafing in the Hospital |
Anyway, the good news is that Grandma is now back home, although she needs ongoing treatment, she is on the road to recovery. I'm pretty sure Leon was glad to have her back home.
Yea! Grandmas home! |
When feeling rough and thinking that the world has it in for you, along comes Leon, a hug a smile and the world is a little better.
As he had been so good, we took Little Leon for a suprise trip to Blackpool (Nooooo, child cruelty I hear you cry!), wait! there is method in my madness, It was Blackpool airshow, so after watching the red arrows, some wing walkers and a Bi-plane antics, we took Leon for his treat. At the (rubbish otherwise) sealife centre were the Octonauts, Leons favourites and he got the chance to meet Peso. He face lit up and despite daddy feeling pretty rubbish, all was well in the world!
So off home we went, Leon went to sleep snuggling his Peso pillow.
It's moments like this make the hard days worthwhile.
Anyway, we've a few exciting things coming up, so keep watching for more adventures.
Night night all. xx
